As you can see I have kind of narrowed my choices of companies to apply with after school down to W/S and May. I need a third just in case. Any recommendations?

Might wanna check out WEL Companies, they have nice KW T660's, APU's, pull reefers. They do have some older trucks around Freightliners but most of them seem to be gone.

Gesterly1 on here started out with them outta school did 6 months OTR, and has been a Local driver for them ever since and in FL no less and gets paid GOOD!

At $4 bucks or more a gallon they may implement some kind of policy. Fuel cost is killing everyone :biggrin_25513:

Ask Curt for the monthly idle %. Each month has a different % for each type of truck. I get about 7.3 mpg average a month, but it will go up now with the warmer weather. My idle is below 25%. Do you use fuel supplements? MT shop has them.

My truck pretty much runs 24/7 the 5 days a week I'm out and still get over 8mpg...
