Does anyone have any good recommendations for reefer companies that hire out of North Texas (or Texas in general)?
Here's what I'm looking for:
Recent CDL Graduate (I'm going to go to a private training school).
Tuition Reimbursement
OTR or Regional Reefer pulling
Pet Policy (Not required, I don't have my own dog right now).
Relatively quick OTJ Training
Fullsized Trucks (also not required).
That's all I can think of. If someone has other items to consider please let me know.
Thank you!
Any recommendations in Texas?

mavrick seems ok but why reefer ? I hear its lots of waiting at shippers. Good Luck, if you can PM chinatown, he has the lowdown ! and he wont sugar coat anything but will give an honest opinion.

I have some interest in flatbed, however, I worry that it would be too physically demanding for me. I'm not afraid of hard work but I don't want my physical condition to put mine and others lives at risk. I'm a woman and I'm way overweight. I do workout everyday with P90X3. The other thing that worries me is that I'm uncomfortable with heights. I realize that with flatbed, I'll have to climb on top of the load to tarp.
I haven't really though too much about tanker. Do any of you have any insight as to what that entails, and also if that would be something you'd recommend to first time truckers? I understand they pull differently than the other options.
Thanks to all of you for your input! -

Several tanker companies hire new CDL grads. Some of their physical requirements are in addition to the standard DOT physical such as stair steps then checking heart rate. You also have to climb on top of tankers and walk on a narrow catwalk like in the picture "realsupatrucka" posted.
