Scareface, are you O/O or Company? 48 or Dedicated? Do you even drive for Swift or are you just a former Swift driver with a mad-on for the outfit; doing anything to turn people off to them, including trolling a post where someone is trying to improve his lot in life? Granted, I've only been with Swift for around 3 & 1/2 years, but unless I forgot to scan a bunch of paperwork, I have never pulled in $1500 a week. And up until Nov. and Hurricane Sandy, was getting around 10k mi a month. Just curious is all.

I see a ton of people bashing swift on here, but i just started i fell my opinion is nothing yet
But they have done alright by me so far, i did drive back in 08 though it was solo at the time

Just out of curosity ... if you're not even pulling 2500 a week solo, why do you think you will pull 6000 a week team?

Not bashing Swift I was just saying teaming is a scam not only at Swift but All companys.

I am a Swift company driver now and have been for 1yr and 2months now I have done OTR and Walmart dedicated.

Im a hard runner I drive 11hrs a day when I have to with little stopping for bathroom breaks ect I run run run run, if I have 3hrs to PU a load I set PTA and do it, I have a DM that gets me a load if I don't have 1 or I bug the #### out of dispatch until I get a load.

I have made $1500 running solo that's the most I have made but usually once a month 1 get over a $1300 a week but I average $1000 a week I guess I just know how to work the system.

Im away from my wife n kids to make money not sit I can sit at home if I'm not making at least $900 a week Im not happy and its not worth being away from home,I can make that running locally and Implan to after I get 2yrs in so I can run tankers but there is several company's I have talk to that pay $800 to $1100 a week but Im just waiting for now.

I meant no disrespect to you I have talk to lots of drivers that only make $300 a week I don't understand it are they sitting all week?

Let me ask u are u in a confront zone if u are that may be ur issue my friend was and was making crappy checks, my DM asked me if I wanted to join great lakes confront zone but said its only 2500 miles a week.

Trust me not 1 of us should be out here away from our family's making less than $1000 a week.

Dam GOV. Needs stop regulate us and start regulating these comPanys by making them pay us $1000 a week min. We work way too much for FREE it's BS

Run 48 myself, though mostly Western states since I'm out of Vegas. Roll hard but been stuck East since end of Oct. Working my way back after B-Service is done in the morning. I typically get more miles running West, unless I get stuck in CA or OR. Just looking for a co-driver and then try to get on this Expedited Transcontinental route. Getting pretty tired of getting jerked around with these 200-300mi runs. But you know the saying: "The reward for a job well done is another job". There must be a note next to my name in the planners computer that marks me as a chump. Or it's time to fire my DM. Getting a little tired being treated like I just got off the mentors truck.

I run a l/o team with my brother and we average 5k a week. Some weeks we get 7k others we only get 3500 all depends on where they need "help" on a hot load sometime it works out other its screws you. As a team we get to deal with the sunday night clean out of the tcalls in terminals as well as a lot of 200-300 mile runs so get used to that. Most of our runs consist of 800 to 1500miles that a solo cannot run overnight. Also it seems most of the team load are always on the oldest trailers on the fleet since about 95% is drop and hook no one cares what they pick up to drive to the shipper with. On a side note we are looking to buy another truck (outside of IEL) since most the freight for teams has dropped and now it's just solo runs with updated delivery times.

Good to know. Although I have noticed that planners are more and more reluctant to do T-Calls lately. Anyhow, gonna start looking for other options after the Holidays.

Hope it improves for u, I seen to make more $$$ in the East a lot does depend on these dam delivery times, swift thinks we are babysitters for these loads at times I always ##### and make them Tcall and DM takes care of it.

This week has been a nightmare started good then Qualcomm screen won't turn on its on u can hear it but can't see it, had Qualcomm replaced in New Boston term Thur went to bed for my load it came on left new Boston to NYC went to sleep in nj it went in Allen mode screen been off since got to NYC they got me a ld from ct to close to Jonestown term got there no ld they tell me to find a place to park at am near NYC that's funny I drove back to nj to park on 80 they refused to let me drive to term to far 130m the other close term shoot closed til mon bs so they made me sit all day sat left in am today to get me to jonestown no part cable for it have to order it tommorrow but I need a restart any way.

Oh I have to call in to get off duty and all macs it's so gay I and I called to get off duty today oh I cant do that I don't know how so I'm stuck on duty until I deliver then hopefully they can get me off or I'm violating and going back to Jonestown for restart and wait for part. I was told not to run palmer logs so if I ever get my screen on I got 4 days to edit, just been a mess, but I've made $500 plus they owe me layover for yesterday

You need to be on paper for the days the q/comm is down. DOT would need to see something for that time if you get stopped.
