The problem isn't modulation, it's feedback. There's very little force difference between 10psi and 30psi, and force is a far better feedback mechanism than position.
Any tips for slowing on icy roads?

The fact that a cdl holder is on the internet asking this question actually scares me. I gotta tell my family to stay off the road for good

Ran into a small problem when trying to hook a trailer with light snow on the ground that I am thinking cables or even socks would have solved. Someone mentioned just getting a couple regular dog chain/leashes and putting those on, but I can't imagine the damage those could cause if they started flailing around on a spinning drive. Just need something quick and easy that will get me under (or out of a parking spot) a trailer on slick surfaces.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -

Thanks for the recommendation. I can't foresee using cables for more than 20-30ft maybe two or three times per season. It's usually trailer drop lots that I get stuck. If highways are bad enough to need cables or chains, I park.
dwells40 and Speed_Drums Thank this. -
FelixFan Thanks this.
