Hey, I have a few leads on jobs, and I was just curious what you all keep in your trucks, I mean the things that a driver needs and those that make the job better or at leat more confertable. May sound dumb, but I want to be prepaired. Thanks All
Any Tips would really help

A good trucker's atlas, calculator, notebook, tire pressure gauge, tire thumper, pens, clothes, blankets, pillows, clipboard (preferably one that has an interior compartment), rain gear, cold weather gear, work gloves, bungie cords.
That's some of the stuff I can think of. I know others will be in to add more!Mischief Thanks this. -
Thanks lil, looks like so far so good. I already have most of the stuff you mentioned. I can't believe how helpful this site has been for me. Any good websites that sell things for truckers that isn't as expensive as a truck stop? LOL I already want to look at things to make the truck better. Just window shopping now though. Gotta pay the bills first.

WalMart sells all those items, and then some.

Duct tape, zip ties, a truck stop guide, tape measure, socket set, locking pliers, sunglasses, food and water, wet wipes, washcloths for a sponge bath when you can't get a shower, and something to do in your spare time.

Thanks so much for the tips. I just want to be sure not get out there just to find I forgot the things I need.

I'm not a driver, pricey, but from what I read it's a fine line between carrying what you need and overwhelming your limited space by carrying too much. You'll learn to tweak your list once you get out there.
And it's never "dumb" to be prepared. Never!
