My classes start Jan. 7th and I'm hoping to hook up with someone from the KY region so we both get some satisfactory home time when available. I'm currently a smoker but looking to quit ( it does not matter if you smoke), 45 yrs, old with an adventurous heart. I have a good attitude about the the future so someone that is constantly pessimistic will probably not like me much. I'm doing this gig for the experience but depending on the company, would not mind the long term if feasible. I realize that I will be out with a trainer for the initial part of the hitch but it's not a bad idea to explore options considering the team aspect of CRST. I'd like to get on with someone that likes to stay rolling but that also has good hygiene and doesn't have too foul of a mouth. I don't offend easily but I do have certain beliefs that leaves me feeling more comfortable with someone that thinks before they act or talk, lol.. I have a great deal of respect for people's space and just expect the same courtesies. On my reset time, I'd like to be able to get out of the truck for awhile. If we're in an area that is not populated that has any high points or pits, I'm an avid vertical caver so will have climbing gear with me. I'm also a flashoholic and do small electronic fabrications for better light ideas. I'm a certified Wilderness First Responder, so if you have an accident, I can be an asset. If this is something that does not rub you the wrong way, hit me up on your time frames. Looking forward to meeting some of the awesome folks on this board.

Still hoping to hear from any of the new students heading up to Waterloo for training. If there is anyone that can give a heads up as to what to expect from the facility and process, that would be awesome also. 1 of the trainers from the CR school has provided me with some good insight but it's always nice to get specific details if available.
