Any truckers see/hear of bigfoot sightings?

You may be laughing right now, but sightings of the sasquatch or Bigfoot happen more often than you'd expect - and many of them are from truckers! Truckers are in the unique position of witnessing these animals!

"Mr. Thornton saw the figure immediately, five to seven feet off the roadside to the left (east), as it came off the mountainside slope and out of the tree and brush cover at what he described as a full sprint and added that "a human could not run that fast." He also mentioned a very large swinging motion to its long arms which were bent at the elbow.
He also described the figure as "obviously much taller than a person, twice the mass of a football player, and probably about nine feet tall." It was "so heavily-muscled that it was as if it had no neck, with the shoulders going right to the head." It also had somewhat of a conical head profile almost like that of a gorilla. He could not tell with any certainty if it was male or female but, because no breasts were apparent and it appeared so very well-built, thought it was probably a male."

"The witness recounted how unnerving the experience was and how all the hair on his back and shoulders stood on end. His truck was too large and heavy for a man to rock it back and forth so violently. The animal also had to have hands to grab the truck (probably the door handles) and not leave any scratches or marks (like a bear would leave). "

And there are more than that, a quick search of that website reveals that truckers are seeing Bigfoot in many states. These are highly credible witnesses who have no reason to make up what they saw.

My question for the folks on here is, have you seen anything unexplained while driving on a desolate, wilderness road? Has any one ever told you stories of encountering these animals?

The PNW is famous for its sightings, and of course for the first footage obtained of the species. Many footprints, the ideal evidence for an unclassified species, are found up there!

Here's a report from a firefighter from the PNW, who saw a Bigfoot along with several members of the team he was camping with

 

Florida is also home to many sightings - and as jtrn points out their known as skunk apes down there - cause of the awful smell!

This report gives some insight into just how bad they smell... sounds horrible!
