Any Truckstop Employees post here?

I would rather just see them leave...

 

Pilot tried this once a few years ago. Most of the receipts wound up on the ground (if the printer was working..). Now pilot has a kiosk that you can go over and print your receipt or cash in a shower without standing in line at the fuel desk. You should also ask your company why they arent paperless now...

 

Well the Petro here in Hammond, LA just decided to fill on of their potholes. I guess they decided that the tire shop wasn't making enough money.... Cause this crap will destroy a tire rather quickly....

As they say... It's a schiddy job, but someone's gotta do it. Occasionally, when the mood strikes, I'll hand someone a $20 bill for doing those kinds of jobs... Just out of the blue.

Thanks for doing that job, and know that not all of us trash the place and fill the trash cans with pee.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Pilot, and now Flying J, are hell bent on turning every customer into a full-blown, insulin-shooting diabetic?

"Would you like a Kit Kat for just 50 cents to go with your coffee? No? Well how about a 50lb sack of cane sugar? A 55 gallon drum of high fructose corn syrup to help get you through your day?"

 

It's annoying as hell too.

 

I hate the whole "convenience store" truckstop model. they are ruining the j's now too.

 

I wish they'd offer deals on regular size candy bars and not just king-sized. Sure I love Reese's peanut butter cups but I really only want 2 (regular size) and not 4. Sure I could buy 4 but then I run the risk of forgetting about it and finding a chocolate peanut buttery melted mess in the truck somewhere.

Little note to Pilot: at Love's, along with bananas and apples, they also sell grapes. You should really sell grapes, too.
