Stretch the frame and put a box or flatbed on it. Use it for deliveries or sell.
-
find a shop that does truck bodies, I'm sure they'll make a cash offer on it.
-
LTL maybe?
-
Does it have a sleeper ?
-
Sleepers are cheap. You'd have to stretch it anyway for a tow n haul. -
No sleeper the poor sob thought making 1500 a week was money, About how much do you guys think is to stretch it?
Ltl around here is good the problem is finding drivers, if I find a driver with a ok record I would be willing to pay 60% after expenses since parking in north Jersey is atleast 150 dollars a month.(I'm paying 275 for 2 trucks in a unsecured parking lot) -
Stretching frame and adding sleepers and tandems would probably cost more than the truck would be worth. Maybe you could advertise it to the hotshotters market.
Cetane+ and KANSAS TRANSIT Thank this. -
well hotshotting or selling it seem to be the better more economical options im going to go to the hotshot forum. I drove around the port today where the import cars come into the country and I saw most of the guys that haul cars have the single axles, but lets see whats around my area for now until I find a driver or sell it will be a really expensive front yard decoration just like the girlfriend always wanted...... not exactly but close
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
Don't put a nickel into unless it is necessary to get it sold. Sell it and move on. If you start screwing with it you will spend a pile of money and time and probably lose your a_ _. Just my opinion.
average joe, Cetane+ and flat top Thank this.
