i was wondering was there anybody around who was hauling chips these days... just wanted to know how the market it, such as pay rates and the demand... preferable someone who's in the southeast due to the fact im from the virginia/carolina area..

i can`t really help ya with virginia but they run steady up here. mostly to papermills. how`s the logging business in va? i`l think if log trucks are rollin steady chip trucks must be too. ya have to clean up the leftovers in the woods. idk, but that`s the way it happens here. personally i`ld rather haul logs than chips but i`m biased, god i can`t wait till mud season is over! lol

mills are all shut down in TX. My uncle's whole co. was cut off. usually they just limit how many loads a day they will take but now they just cut everyone off. Yards are full, nobody is buying. The chip market in my area has been slow and cheap for years now
