Anybody come back to Schneider?

#### they've been hammering me with recruiting flyers. Get home after a few weeks out and I have two letters begging me to come back. I don't miss the micro managing one bit. Only way I'd come back to Schneider is if I want to get intermodal experience but even then don't know if I even want to deal with these rail yards in Chicago.

 

#### that, they don't pay by the hour. In Ohio they pay local drivers $50 a load plus 26cpm. I don't think I could deal with that pay rate with Chicago traffic, waiting on chassis repairs, and such. I drove around with a trainer/local driver in Chicago for a day during orientation and he said that they sent him out to Fort Wayne, Indy, and Iowa a lot..

The bread and butter is apparently running those "crosstowns" from rail yard to rail yard in Bedford Park, Cicero, Hodgkins, etc. No more than 10 miles per run lol.
