Just had a Costco load. PrePlan said 43k, but the BOL said 44,860....and i had EXACTLY half tanks. Was holding my breath when i scaled it. Turns out it scaled out fairly easily. 78.5k and all i had to do was slide my tandems 2 holes forward cause my drives were 34250. (two holes just to be sure i shifted enough weight) But it drove pretty good. Fuel mileage SUCKED...but then again, i had to make up for lost time, AND i had to be in Omaha by the time i ran out of clock. Drop was in west des moines. so i was going as fast as i could legally go.....topping at 70mph a few times. lol
Anybody drive a KW 660?

yens newbes must remember, its not an RV, its a truck, those ant-eaters are the best, i had a T-600 when i work for millis hauling beer, very solid truck, you can reach everything in the cab without stretching, and the steps are alot better for getting in and out, not like a latter on those wide cabs which weight more, look at the prostar very wide cab and that (windshield), god how much do's that weight, its a good thing yens are not an airline pilot, small cab there too, no fat people there

The Kws are probably built better then alot of trucks. I have a volvo alot of space but I just dont like how its laid out. lot of storge but small cubbies. Prostars weigh more then volvos and hold less fuel but I think they're built better and ride better then the volvos. Most load I've had go up to maybe 46000 and with full tanks I'm at 78-79000 usually. I have the 670 full condo. THe freightliner cascadias are probably lighter they look nice but my feeling is its still a freightshaker. If I could get in a kw t-660 I think I would. I know the kw T-2000s are heavy. The Kw t660 shouldnt be that much heavier then a volvo. Just make sure its a cummins or detroit motor. Maybe cat. I think swift gets cummins mostly. I know some of the old freightliner columbias have detroits. If you get a volvo stay away from the volvo motor unless you like slowing way way down on hills. I have the cummins and it pulls fairly well on hills loaded

cat stop making the c-15, kenworth will have cummins or the new paccar MX engine only, international will have the new caterpillar c-15 in them next year with a new air and fuel system, called maxxforce 15L
