For shame, sir. That truck is entirely too pretty to be a yard ornament.

Side effect of me not being a driver and the trucks being a hobby.

Yep, my A model projects I have dreamed out involve many hours of quality time with a mag drill. Basically spec'ing a new truck, a Restomod if you will.

Most are beat but unfortunately most owners think they're worth gold in that condition.

I have seen trucks sell for way more than what I’m asking for mine and be in worse condition but look fancy.

I came across another A model like mine. Similar specs and condition but with 8 new drive tires. Guy was asking 3x what I paid for mine. A beat 40 year old truck is worth maybe $3k tops as far as I'm concerned.

the one i looked at if i remember right they wanted somewhere around 5k everything rubber was pretty well toast the mice had gotten the inside pretty bad. needed a engine rebuild. was overall pretty crusty. was missing a fuel tank and a step and a few other parts.

if i was to buy one like it would need a lot of work anyway id want to stretch it to 265 add a steerable pusher put it on air ride would want big power ect

I gave $3500 for mine after it had been parked inside for 20 years after they blew up the engine. The thing was only on the road for 14 years.
