Anybody else sitting a lot?

That could be it. When you yell, the sound will activate the camera. I guess the microphone wants to record you yell before the accident.

How I know they hear me? My DM called me one time and asked if I was pissed about something. I was like huh.... and then I remembered when I was bored out of my mind, I started to yell and sing and talk to myself. So there you go. They are definitely listening.

 

Well, I stand corrected. On the other hand, 1% on a slow freight cycle doesn't mean much. But what do I know. I've only been doing this since 1993.

 

Freight is up ... But so is capacity. The load to truck ratio is significantly lower this year over last year and the rates reflect it.

Started with 2 days off this week , which rolled into 4 after being offered them .being the 5th day was my birthday I called and asked if I could take the next day off also. Got my birthday plus the day after off and don’t need to roll until 6 on the following day.

Heaven. I love a week off.

 

How can some one placed themselves in a job like that? Do they force you to drive under video recording?
The reason I chose this line of work is because I don’t want to deal with any pos boss, I want to sing, recite , act yell , scream talk to anyone on the phone and laugh my ### off . I want to Stop my truck in any truck stop and play my guitar and not to give a f&$k to nothing or anyone .
I think you will be happier and much better off working anywhere else than driving under those conditions bro.

 

uh huh. I had whittled profanity to a fine art. It's a VERY good thing none of that silly camera stuff is in the cab with ears around me. Especially if idiot 4 wheeler is cursed a thousand times thousand before impact.

Why are companies so dead set on driver facing cameras? Are things that bad where we have to set and watch you drive..
