Anybody else tired of this??

Was hilarious to sit at the desk in the stealership with my wife while we were buying a used car.
Wife has a masters degree in mathematics and a near photographic memory for numbers , and every time that slimy sales weasel said something , half a second later she’d interrupt and tell him his math was wrong ,
The sales weasels would say the interest rate was X and quote the payment and she’d do the math and realize he was actually charging 2.5% more interest , etc

we’ve been married 26 years and we’ve financed exactly ONE vehicle purchase , just had a baby , just bought a 55 year old house and her car got totaled while sitting in a parking lot , funds were thin and we needed a family truckster right away.
That’s the one and only time we didn’t pay cash for a used vehicle .

same with my trucks , the first one I did a lease purchase , and after that, the other 7 rigs were paid for in cash .

 

I want to believe.

My local M&K has no problem with that too. Very good guys.

 

Over capacity in the spot market due to the get rich quik boys that way over payed for equipment ...its adjusting now.

I bought my 2 trucks in May of 2021 from Ryder. 2 box trucks, 1 refer, and 1 dry box. About 6 weeks later prices shot to the moon. I should have bought another refer and flipped it. I haven't checked in a while, but last I did prices came down slightly, but inventory was scarce.
