I hear ya Cowboy and don't blame ya a bit for it. I would do the same.
Look's like I've put myself on the back burner for now because of a lot of problem's and stress so I'm not sure if it would be a good idea right now being under intense stress plus wouldn't want anything bad happening to endanger anyone else. I thought for a minute that getting out there on my own and getting through it would help ease the problem's by seeing something different and being somewhere else but I'm not so sure about that. I'm not gonna take the chance because the last time I was super stressed out I hit a lady from behind so I wasn't in the right frame of mind to be driving. I guess anybody wouldn't after their fiance` just left them.
Oh well, maybe a couple month's down the road.
Anybody ever drive for P.A.M.?

Hey Todd, since you work for AFS maybe I can pick your brain a bit.Do you know if PAM or AFS will hire from Myrtle beach, SC? I was told by a recruiter for another company that they won't hire east of I-95. I originally wanted to start with AFS because they seem to be a small but growing company doing alot of stuff in the Southeast. I know on the hiring map there is a little sliver that leaves us out but I also was told that sometimes companies don't always stick strickly to where these maps indicate the hiring areas are. Just curious if what the recruiter told me was true or just a line. Thanks. -
I know lots of AFS drivers live in Georgia, North and South Carolina so I wouldn't think it would be a problem living in Myrtle Beach. I know I have picked up and delivered loads in that area. Ill ask tomorrow when someone is in the office that might know for sure.
Ok just talked to my dispatcher and he said it would not be a problem that he has drivers on his board living in that area. -
Thanks Todd. I really do appreciate it. I already have the CDL and endorsements but because I haven't driven in about seven years and it was only for a couple of months for Swift until their truck almost killed me, I have to go through the schooling, training etc. Atleast now I know the truth about AFS because of you. I will talk to the job placement people at the school about it. Thanks again.
