I avoided the scales like the plague. Luckily I've only had to cross them twice in my life. Trick is to let a couple dump trucks ahead of you. The one's out here usually run clapped out junk so its the perfect distraction to avoid an inspection hehehe.

If a broker ever told me he isn’t going to work with me cause of the number of inspections I have had, I wouldn’t want to haul for them anyway.

I think the company needs 5 inspections before they receive a csa score in maintenance and 3 inspections for hos.

Just pull up on the scale and jump out swatting and running screaming Beeeeeeee’s

Must be a new phenomenon. Wanting to hang out and be seen with the dot and feeding the bears instead of keeping a low profile and staying invisible.

It was easy to get a green light on hwy 63 because of that. There was enough junk on the road that keeping the lights, reflective tape, and company name clean and intact was all it took to avoid the white glove treatment.

I volunteer a few times a year. Generally I found they are more lenient and level 3 generally. Most of them don’t want to do a level 1

I was usually not worried, as long as I wasn't a little heavy. I use coveralls and a creeper when i do pretrips.
If anything bad happens that pretrip you signed will be used against you.

I request a level 1 once, he couldnt find anything wrong with the truck so he took apart a bundle of air lines an found one chafing so I didn't pass. Now I just avoid the scales an I live in cali
