    I didn't mean to put this in the bad company thread necessarily, or good company either, it just happens to be the one I was looking at when I thought of it. I used to work there back in the 1980s. I was wondering if anybody reading here ever worked there.

    Yes, I worked for Thurston from December 1983 to July 1987. First started as team out of Charlotte for 90 days then ran out of Tri-Cities (Blountville, TN) the rest of the time. Fist truck was COE day cab White # 2222. 7 speed, lol. Then got bumped to a Jiff-lock GNC Brigadier # 2430. Tall cotton then- had A/C AND Power Steering! Drifter was my handle.
