I have no place near my house where I can park a truck and trailer. The closest place is the loves travel stop in chandler, but they have a policy of only 24 hours. I talked to a manager there and he said that if I parked in the back nobody would bother me, and I got his name, but I'm wondering if that official policy will get in the way if Conway calls to verify the parking place. If I could bobtail, it would be much easier. Con-way freight is out of the question because they only have 7 free spots and they are all taken.

I leave my truck there everytime and never had a problem, talking like 5-6 days at a time. Never asked for permission either.

Yeah, but Conway truckload has to authorize our parking locations with officials at the places that we park. I parked there also, but that was when I was with Werner and they were rather less restrictive about home time parking.

You did try the Con-Way Freight terminal in Phoenix/Tolleson? I know overnight parking is allowed as long as you disconnect from the trailer and park the bobtail along the fence (disconnecting from trailer is approved since at a terminal)
