the point is you don't need some specal degital antenna... degital REQUIERS a stronger signal and a signal booster doesn't care if it's degital or analog.....

Actually my sleeping bag is made in Pakistan but a lot of my truck parts are made in China however that isn't relative since I don't own the truck and drive what they issued me.

I know it's nearly impossible to avoid purchasing things that are not from China but more often than not, if I see that it's got a 'made in China' label in it, I'll talk myself into not really needing one of those items.

I don't have a problem with Mexico... unless I drink the water.

How do you guys secure your wall mounts in your sleeper. I currently have mine mounted in the cubby hole on a swing mount but dont really care for it that way. My new truck will be coming in in about 3 weeks and am thinking about a little larger tv and wall mounting it instead.

i have a 2x4 that runs from the foot end of the bed going up just long enough so it fits between the upper bunk and the wall. then i have a 2x4 cut so it justs fits between the back wall and the cabinet (a little foam rubber on the ends) with a wall mount on it....

the vertical 2x4 holds the weight and is pinned so it can't move and the horizontal 2x4 keeps it from moving front to back..... works great for a company driver because it's a NO DRILL had it that way for 19months

if i remember i will post a pic when i get the truck back from the shop

I helped a driver that borrowed my screw gun. We mounted it by his feet on the side of the cabinet. I had some inch and a quarter washers to distribute the weight and it worked perfectly. The TV swung out over the bunk or all the way out to where you could watch it from the drivers seat. When not in use it swung flat against the cabinet. I really liked that mount. A company isn't going to say anything about 4 little holes if one leaves. They will probably will never even see them.

I had a 389 and a 20" Phillips wedged in the TV hole perfectly. No straps or anything and even had it angled down a little. I also used a $17 RCA digital antenna from Walmart. It's flat, amplified and fits anywhere. I've picked up channels 60 miles away with that thing. Dallas, Atlanta, NY, Chicago, LA.... you can pick up 40-60 channels.
