Anybody have experience with truckloadrate?

Most of the load boards offer a rate index with supposed "lane averages". Seems like those numbers always are in favor of the broker / shipper. Just my opinion. I use Members Edge (OOIDA), Internet Truck Stop, and the boards hosted by the brokers such as Landstar, CHRW, etc. Never tried Truckloadrate.

 

Vision- how is chrw compared to others?

 

It is something to give you all ideas as to what the rates are in those areas lately but we all know rates are at a all time low right now and have been. I agree as all those sites the rates seem low and yes a lot of shippers go off those rates right now and makes it real tough for everyone out there. Lets hope things will continue to get better as I can't see how they can get much worse?

 

It's different... the interface takes some getting used to, but one thing I like is that we can email the brokers on the load postings, so we'll send out 5-10 bids at a time via email. Almost always we have someone accept a bid without negotiating doing it that way.
