Anybody know about Rush Trucking comp??

orientation is tomorrow for me. 33 cents/mile, drop & hook pay, dedicated run home nightly off weekends. recruiter seems pretty nice and honest. little concerned that they arent sure where or when i will get my truck considering i am suppose to have it right at end of 1 day orientation. all in all it seems to sound good, will find out though.

do a search for rush trucking and will find their website. click around it and should find most what looking for

if you go in with an open mind to a job then you will hopefully see the good and the bad equally and be able to weigh it all fairly

 

never heard of drop an hook pay............sounds all to good to be true..........and you know the saying from there..........keep us posted

 

orientation was quick painless and well like all others boring. so far a litttle disorganized but is a new acct and that is to be expected. for confusion issues on getting truck they paid me $50 comcheck for my drive to and from orientation. truck is newer international daycab trailers are like all others some good some rough but that is nature of business. Once all is rolling and in place it looks like it will be a smooth deal at this point. hope that helps ya out.

was told it was $5/drop n hook, they didnt mention breakdown pay or anything like that but i didnt ask either. Guess it was actually "stop" pay.

they use qualcomm but keep it simple as well. paper log at this point. sticklers on speeding and health ins. is high for a family plan.

Jim11h , ORT WIFE. How is Rush working out. I just applied for a driving job with them. I am relocating to Lexington Ky my home town and I saw the had runs around Georgetown Ky. Just wanted to see how they are. I would like out and backs home at night and weekends off I have 6 years driving in Delaware all local so I'm looking for something like that.

 

where is Orientation held? I'm in Kansas City
