I'm looking for information regarding their training. In some older info found there is a mention of some upfront costs but the email the recruiter sent me yesterday does not mention any of that.

When I ran for Schneider -- they would show up at a lot of the same places.

There's a thread here on the Forum that should be more informative for you:

    Millis OTR journal

Those routinely posting there can probably answer your qtns.

Millis used to be above average before they got bought out. Used to talk to a few of their drivers from time to time when I was running across Sconnie. Havent heard much since the buy out good or bad.

The training doesn’t cost anything as long as you stay a year. However after the 1st week you will be responsible for your hotel room. They will reimburse you only $30.00 per night with a receipt. They also do not feed you the 1st week your there they put you up in a hotel with a roommate. And the hotel has free breakfast you’re also responsible for your own transportation to wherever they send you for training again they don’t feed you at all so you will be paying for your own meals. On the bright side I guess they do pay you $600.00 per week after the 1st week and they don’t hold a week back if you start on Monday you will have a check on Friday. That should shed some light on the subject for you good luck to ya

Thanks. I've been here a week so far. Bill the instructor (ohio) is good dude. Will teach you to become a driver and to not just pass the test

When did they start paying for 2 weeks of the hotel I’m getting to go to Carlisle pa on the 15th of July and the letter I got from my recruiter clearly states after the 1st week I will be responsible for my own hotel room. I actually have 16 years experience but I’ve been out of the industry for 8 years so I have to start over anyhow good luck to you
