They used to have their own cdl school in Nashville, but shut it down.
Now they advertise this:
New CDL A Grads & Student Truck Drivers
No Experience Necessary
Anybody point me the right way??

And apparently I was wrong. You have to get your cdl 1st like chinatown said.

Chinatown Thanks this.

Try local beer outfits. I know a few ex felons that drive for two of em and you won't need travel waivers because you will stay in town. Most of them will also train you.
-
There's some other companies that will hire you after you get a cdl; refrigerated and dry van.
Don't always go by what's on the website; plenty of companies bend their own rules.
Carolina Cargo hires drivers right out of prison. Even have a recruiter visiting cdl schools to let students know that if they have a criminal record, maybe will give them a 2nd chance.
Roadtex Transportation is the same and there are others.FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
Don’t be afraid to apply anywhere nearby even if they ask about felonies. Most every company asks. Just ask them upfront. Don’t try and hide it. Many background checks come up blank on felonies depending on county and age of offense
Nobody can hide from INTERPOL thoughx1Heavy and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
Where are you in Ohio? Maybe something local or near to you for training.
Do the online application with this company and someone will contact you. There's a short app. on the website.
Maybe they still hire felons. They have hired students that did much more than 3 years in prison.
Their school is in Hamilton, Ohio

I don't know the market in your area but dump trucks could be the way to get your foot in the door too. It seems like felonies are a prerequisite for getting hired on at a lot of those outfits.
D.Tibbitt and Linte_Loco Thank this. -
I am not a threat and have nothing to fear from scotland yard or interpol, however if a bad guy got red carded through interpol he will have to build a space ship and fly to a new planet to make a home. The earth itself would be no safe place for him.Rideandrepair, D.Tibbitt and Linte_Loco Thank this.
