Just graduated with my CDL a couple weeks ago and I applied at Coke not expecting a call, I ended up having an interview with them yesterday! Can any body with experience working for them give me some info on what to expect if I get the job? Pay, atmosphere, promotions? Thanks

I worked for coke back in 2007. Pay is ok, its hard work, very physically demanding. Takes a long time to get promotions. If one of the old guys retires and you can get a bulk delivery route where all you do is drop off pallets at big stores like wal-mart, then you have it made. Full Service routes are great, fill drink machines all day, no dealing with people. Dealing with these pissed of convenient store clerks/managers is no fun. You will be doing that 90% of the time. I would not work there ever again.

How do they pay? In the interview they told me a daily rate, is there more to be made on top of that?
