Assist with tailgating boxed furniture and CARPET???

Evidently whomever wrote this ad has no clue how rolls of carpet are moved.

Hell I even noticed the other day a JB hunt truck with a "final mile" sticker on it so it sounds as if they are merely grasping what garbage freight they can just as they do in the TL section so I guess it's a good thing companies like them are joining the crowd it just makes us look better lol

image.jpg That was one week into the second quarter , so multiply by 4 . Will be a tad high , but you get the idea.

Those Watkins-Shepherd guys hustle. And it's true, I see em' at Lowes all the time hauling rolls of carpet, furniture, and other unpalletized headache freight. And the ad says 10-15 stops per round? That's long days maxing out your 14, lots of stress trying to get your stops off, dealing with customers, tight backing off city streets, etc. And throw in an ELD to boot? No thanks !!

I don't know any LTLs where city pays more than linehaul. What are some of those companies? Forgive me if they've already been specified.

I've seen SNI doing swaps with doubles at a truck stop we (OD) frequent in Smithton, PA.

Our linehaul drivers make more than city drivers. .6568 top rate plus accessory pay. We have runs where drivers certainly gross 100k a year and are home every night. I'd say average l/h driver makes 70-85k at our barn. It's not hard to get a bid run making around 90k after a couple years of seniority. I've been linehaul with OD for a few years now. I love it. It doesn't get any easier.

12 hours on the clock at my barn will pay you well above our highest paying linehaul run.
