Can anybody tell me anything about Marten Transport or being on a Kraft account. Recruiter said i would be out 5 days home 2 with a guaranteed minimum of 2,400 miles a week. I assume she is blowing smoke up my ### and would Iike to get some insight from someone who has actually drove for them or been on the account. I tried looking at there online reviews and like most companies it was all over the place.
Anybody worked for Marten or been on a Kraft account?

If the offer seems legit do due diligence and check it out. Nothing wrong with online reviews but as with anything be careful! I would also add there is no law that states once you sign on you are forced into a life of servitude to this company! Don't develop a habit of job-hopping, but there is nothing wrong with signing on, and just test them and see if they are telling the truth. If not, well it's like that old line. I was looking for a job when I came here. If you find it's a good fit then you have found that perfect job!

I was picking up a cold load at a Kraft facility a couple months ago in central CA and struck up a conversation with a Marten driver from Virginia who was doing exactly what you're asking about. She said she'd been doing it for 5 years and loved it. That's about as good of an endorsement as I can offer.
Dedicated runs are nice. Running the same route every week, you know where to fuel up, where to sleep and where to eat. You know how far you'll be driving every day and how long it will take. If it's a cross country gig, you shouldn't get bored with the scenery.Speed_Drums and Dockbumper Thank this. -
