He hasn't been on since the end of April, so you might not have to worry about it. :biggrin_25523:

If you have the cash, I have everything you need to go flatbedding. I haven't got a precise value on everything but it should be $70K to $80K for everything out the door. I hold the titles.

If you have that much cash, PM me and we can get specific.

I'm like Oscar, just been tossing the idea around for awhile and not advertising. But, yeah, I'm pretty serious about selling it all. The money to headache ratio is just too frustrating.

I sold the flat this summer, then traded my 05 off for an 07 4 axle, I guess I am a glutton for punishment.

Trucking should be listed as a disease by the AMA.

I like this fantasy also. Since I was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago I thought a more casual approach to trucking would be the way to go. I only ran 64,000 miles last year and created great revenue per mile. However with insurance going through the roof (with no claims) as well as most other fixed costs then with few miles to divide it by the fixed cost per mile gets so high that it's hard to justify having all that overhead. And my truck and trailer payment total only $1,600/mo. At the end of the day I made little more than driver's wages. It might be better if you're equipment is paid for and you're leased to someone like Landstar or Mercer where your cargo insurance doesn't cost you $10,000 a year whether you run or not and you get all the perks and discounts as well.

    SheepDog and MJ1657 Thank this.
