Anyone done 11 hrs driving non-stop?

yep if i have a run like that i can run it straight....did one like that two weeks ago......just snacks and sip on my drinks don't chug them down and I can usually make it all the way.

planning where i'm going to end up parking when time is up is the hardest part but between the truckstop guide, the next exit book, and making those runs at night, i usually can run the elog down to 4 or 5 minutes to go and end up where I want unless I run into unforseen problems along the way.

but it can be done

 

I can imagine what your truck look's and smell's like inside.

 

did it alot when i worked for prime inc they have lots of miles on their loads should have never left oh well its my fault live and learn !!!!!!!!!!

 

I've done it a few times. Once I start driving, don't like to stop except for fuel. I almost always have to stop once for fuel... then I take the opportunity to pee but it's always in and out in a flash. I can hold my pee for 10 hrs if needed. Also, I always prepare salads and sandwiches that I can eat while driving + fruits and nuts so no need to stop to eat. Depending on my mood, I can drive for over 11 hrs... One day, I was soooooo enjoying the road and the weather was soooo gorgeous, I totally lost track of my hrs and drove for over 12 hrs.... Then had to fuel and couldn't find parking space at fuel stop... so, had to drive a little more... what gave me a violation on my log.... but DOT didn't catch it.

 

When I drove line and yes I wanted to get home soon as possible, no matter what, I stop to "DRAIN" my waste, and "NEVER EVER" did it while driving.

 

I went in a bottle once, union jerks in nyc wouldnt let me use their restroom so I figured I could make it to the truckstop right there on the NJ/PA line on I80 so I was sitting on 9a in traffic in manhattan and I COUDNT HOLD IT! not one second longer, so I used a bottle, drained it in the grass and tossed the bottle at the truckstop.

 

Wow, I'm surprised how many have 11 straight. I often drive 12 to 13 a day (canadian rules) but I have no desire to do it without at least a couple of stops. Different strokes as they say.

 

I don't pee while driving anymore. Ever since I got it wedged under the brake pedal, that was it for me.

 

I've run 11 straight a time or two. Probably was going home. I had a trainer that let me run 19 hours one time. A few stops on that run. Casper,WY to San Angelo. I know it sounds crazy, but it happened.

 

I logged it that way but I didn't really drive 100% nonstop, I did take a few 5 min pee breaks.
