Anyone done 11 hrs driving non-stop?

I sure hope you are not driving when the blood clots in your legs break off and travel to your heart.

The fact is that you have to take a 30 min lunchbreak by law after 5 hrs of driving and it has to be logged...good chance to relieve yourself...truth is.EVERY body has peed in a cup or bottle at one point it shouldnt be a habit but rather the last resort...I have driven 16hrs straight when I worked with a company owned by mexicans supertrucking is the way they operated and I told them were to shove their job, hey DieselDave my truck smells better than yours dont worry about mine holmes.

 

Owens corning? Kearny is nice cause leaving you have the turnpike and 280 right there. Ive done 9.75 straight. Last day with my trainer, out for a few weeks and we both wanted to get home.

 

I've done it a few times, most of the time i'll stop for a 5min bathroom break halfway through. Longest i've gone is when I do the burlington,Vt to charlotte, NC drive 16hours 1050miles with one bathroom break in the middle.

Im starting to go to cdl school in two weeks. My driving record is not the best in the last five years.The last three has been better.Within the last five years I have 3 supspensions one revocations and 8 tickets total.I never a DUI or DWI on my licenses.Now will i have a problem getting a job with a local company or OTR company?

Good luck, most companies want your record clean, maybe one minor ticket. Did your school ask you about your record? Mine turned several people down cause of it, would be too hard to find them work after.

 

I burn my 11 a day on occasion, but I ALWAYS stop at least once every 3 hours to bump my tires and leave a whiz. I often grab a Subway sammich, eat part of it while checking out the truck and I sometimes eat it while driving. I get my footlongs quartered for easy eatings on the fly.

 

Been there when I was with TMC but no no this time. We have a drop yard there.
