Whats needed to become a tree truck driver? Is a cdl required? Which one has the best trucks? I'm talking about the bucket and chip dumpers... What do they do throughout the day?
Anyone driving a Tree Truck? Does it require a CDL?

During the day? They work their butt off dragging limbs to the chipper, raking up slash, and then dragging more limbs and brush to the chipper. They also fuel and sharpen saws for the climber, coil ropes, and do traffic control.
Very labor intensive job.
Type of licene required would depend on the size/weight of the truck. A Class B would probably work in most cases.bzinger Thanks this. -
Some require a cdl a or b, and some don't. I've seen their job ads.

Asplund, I remember when I first saw it, I said it out loud, my wife said, God bless you.
