Never did that but I always opted to park on a level surface or if it had to lean I'd opt for it to lean to the right
-
On a non-level surface I prefer to have the nose of the truck on the uphill side, and the right side on the downhill.
My head while sleeping is on the left side, by the way.
That way my head is above my feet, and I am not rolling out to the floor.
Many truck stops and rest areas are situated on a slope.
I always check for the slope and try to park the best way.roadmap65 Thanks this. -
One of my favorite truckstops is the Lee Hi in Lexington, VA but as anyone who has parked there knows, unless you get a spot in that little lot near the highway, there ain't a level spot in that parking lot, lol.

I use a cpap, and with my tv setup I'm kinda stuck to sleeping with my head at one end. Id say Im obsessed with finding level ground. I can handle a slight variation either way, but only slightly. I have been known to back into a spot, sit for a minute to judge, pull out and back into another spot, sit for a minute to judge. I've done this as many as 4 times in a single lot.
I'd love for trucks to start coming with automatic leveling jacks like RV's.redoctober83 and TBonze Thank this. -
lol, I gave up on that. No matter the tilt I can only sleep with my head on the driver side.
-
My head has to be higher than my feet or level.
If it's lower I just switch sides of the bed.
Doesn't have to be perfect either though.
If the front or back of the truck is higher doesn't bother me much.
I usually don't have a big problem finding suitable parking spots though. -
Like to have the nose up a little and left side a little higher. Sleep real good like that. I hate being upside down...
-
I sleep on the higher side, doesn't matter which one.
Once in the bunk it's lights out
