I'm replacing my batteries yet again. Seems to be a yearly thing. This is my second set of 4 for free under warranty through Napa. So you could say I'm actually paying $29 for each battery!!!
Doesn't matter which type of battery, Napa, Delco or even Optima Yellow.
I have a heavy hotel load with a 5cu 110v fridge, Espar and a bunch of other stuff. My Rigmaster does start up automatically when voltage drops below 12.2 volts and runs for 1/2 an hour.
I have a friend with a big bunk and he goes through 6 batteries every year. He ended up buying Maxx car batteries from Walmart and gets a new set every year for free for 5 years.
Anyone else going through batteries

My walkman is using up all the battery juice lately..Thinking about upgrading to a CD player with my points.

"deep cycle" marine batteries are supposed to handle discharging and recharging better than standard batteries but have less cold cranking amps.
But yeah, I go through batteries quick with just the laptop using them. they start swelling just after the warranty runs out. :/Skate-Board Thanks this. -
Myself, I just replaced my set of batteries. (Dec. 10.) u may want to try the Maxwell Ultracapacitor. (I've previously promoted this.)

The Thermo King Eon is $270 each and a 4 year warranty. I've been buying Napa commercial batteries for $89 each and an 18 month warranty.
I was running Delco and was going through batteries left and right. My last set of them they had one shipped back to R&D to look at it. They asked me what I was running. They did end up calling me back to tell be the plates were pretty much gone. Even though my Rigmaster starts up at 12.2 volts a battery can only be run down so many times before the plates are toast.Straight Stacks Thanks this. -
