KW can program that feature out for you if you own the truck. If you're a company driver, whoever ordered the truck wanted it that way. Take it up with management. My 2019 T680 didn't have that particular feature enabled, but it did turn on the brake lights whenever the jakes were on, which I had KW turn off on my first visit to a dealership. Mine wasn't governed and didn't have all of the safety BS on it.

I always hated that too . but was able to defeat it by just turning down the volume and going about my day.

i agree you should respect the substantial investment your employer has made in equipment. i try to treat my truck as if i owned it myself. i love my truck. keep it clean and dont beat the crap out of it. unfortunately milk haulers have a hard time getting drivers, so the offense has to be pretty severe to bring about termination. i have seen him fire people before, but usually it was drinking and driving type offenses. i might just be a milk hauler but i try really hard to be a professional driver and not a meathead. some of these people i just shake my head at the disgrace they call their truck. filthy nasty inside and things like the broken screen. total nonsense.

Stop at your local dealer and have them adjust the settings in the software they can turn that off. Along all the other nanny #### fleets want. Like the brake lights being on when jakes on.
