Anyone else have this fear?

I caught shifter with mu shorts two weeks ago , scared crap out of me. I also check that I set my brakes multiple times, and check my fifth wheel handle when I am at the truck stop. I heard idiots like to pull them when there is nobody around

 

Remember when we could toss them in bars?

 

Glides are the go to tranny for many fast race cars. Of course, very little is not beefed. Usually just the case is left stock. On the street the 700r is good. Basically a 400 turbo with OD.

Obvious paranoia resulting from burning a fattie at bed time. Relax. Worry about "did I shut the lights off on trailer i dropped at yard"

 

The Chevy cevette used a 180 stroudsburg trans.
Cadillac took the 180 and added overdrive and electronics and called it a 4l30E.
It was also used with a gm 2.8 v6 in Isuzu rodeos and Honda passports believe it or not.

 

700R4/4L60 kind of resembles a turbo 350 but only the way the case looks.
4L80E is the one that kind of resembles a turbo 400 with the overdrive.

 

Been there, done that. Usually in direct proportion to how tired I was when I parked.
