Things have changed a little bit since my last post on here. The original plan was for me 2 leave and finish school then move to Visalia with me fiancé and kids, then switch terminals. Since that was the plan before setback we started staying with my family here in IL. Well here it is a month later than my original start date and my cousin is sick of the waiting so she said we have till the end of the month to get out. I called kris Keplar and explained the situation and she told me once I get moved she will transfer me to a Phoenix recruiter and I shouldn't have any issues getting in. So here I am selling my secondary car to get money for the trip and storage for our stuff. I'm praying everything works out ok and this isn't all in vain. Just an update. Thanks for all the encouragement guys and I wish you luck.

Thanks Brian. I'm just hoping that they can get me in asap and it's not another long wait or the van might end up being our home. I guesse being homeless in Cali is better than being homeless in IL. Just kidding lol

Go somewhere else and get your schooling. I didn't do it at Swift. WIA funds paid for my schooling. They will pay for a 3 week school.

Just a quick update. I made the move to Cali and got a slot for aug 1st for academy in Phoenix. Everything is going great and I am enjoying spending some time with my fiancé's folks. I love Cali, it is absolutely gorgeous here in the central valley. I will start a new thread once I head out in 2 weeks if anyone is interested. Thanks again guys.

Awesome nick. I hope you have fun, and I intend to start a swift journey thread like azhammer and kusanagi have done. I enjoyed reading their experiences and it helped calm my nerves considering swifts rep. I know you only hear bad about companies and it's nice when good experiences are shared as well. I'm hoping mike's still there, he sounds awesome. I wish you well and good luck.
