This is something I don't understand, kellogs sure the #### ain't lowering there prices, why should the transporters have to be the ones taking the hit, esp when fuel is up, shop rates are up and everything else under the sun going against us
Anyone else seeing a slow down at their company

I hear you ,the companies making millions and millions of dollars but to cheap to pay a fair rate . All I know is what my company told everyone in the winter or spring refresher training course that Kellogg’s wants to keep doing business with us but wanted us to lower our rates . Which the company said we don’t play the whole rate game but because we have done business with kellogg’s for so many years we’ve offered to lower our rates alittle to keep a positive relationship with kellogg’s. . Meanwhile now there’s very few kriska trailers at kellogg’s brampton but lots of Chargers and every other Brampton trucking companies trailers thereAnother Canadian driver, Canadianhauler21 and MSQUARED Thank this.

Charger won’t survive unless they make money some other way than by hauling freight.. don’t be surprised if they lose contracts quickly .. at a previous company friends have told me how they lost two contacts to charger because they wouldn’t drop rate by 50% .. it took 3 months and they got both back at a higher rate due to extremely poor service by charger.. Kelloggs might not care though being so big .Another Canadian driver and Canadianhauler21 Thank this.

Once the goverment starts going after these companys it should put an end to alot of the Brampton rate cutters and do a major house cleaning of the cheap freight haulers.

Glad that I retired at the end of July. My brother runs in to the Midwest. Last Thursday was the 2nd week that he emptied out in Chicagoland on a Thursday afternoon and Dispatch had no load.
