I don't play tennis, but I have this (or tendonitis) in my right arm, the shifting arm. I think I gave it to myself at home while remodeling my bathroom and one-arming a heavy nail gun. I live off of BioFreeze. I wonder if any other drivers have this and how they cope. I was thinking of going flatbed eventually, but the idea of tarping with a gimpy arm makes me doubtful of doing an efficient job.
God bless yall,
Thanks.
Anyone else with tennis elbow?

I had it few years ago after installing a pull up bar in my truck and going crazy on it. This thing took care of it. Gotta do it few times per day

I have never seen one of those, thank you. I have a couple of the straps that has the bubble thing in it that presses up against the arm, but when you're sweating, they aren't really ideal. In colder weather like now, they are fine to an extent, but move around a lot.

If you are still in the Knoxville, TN area....& trying to start out in flatbed....the following is easily one of the best beginner opportunities out there....check it out:
Maverick Transportation -- hires & trains rookie drivers -- Maryville, TN
Start out with them doing general flatbed freight.....you can also later haul boats in their marine division.
Best of luck....

Tennis elbow anyone? 1st, I don't think you can get an affliction like that with just one use of a nail gun, it takes years of repetitive movement to cause real harm. Rotator cuff usually takes a beating from shifting, not elbow so much. Years ago with 2 sticks( and low HP motors) rotator operations were common, but automatics cured that. Flatbed will only make things worse, as it's imperative to have all limbs working. Tarping is the worst. I suggest a less active type job, line haul, tanker, even dump trucks, but flatbed is a tough job sometimes.

I got tennis elbow early but got rid of it. The key is to vary how you move & grip so you are not stressing the tendon & joint in the exact same way every time.

15 squeezes three times a day got rid of my tennis elbow in both arms. It was unexpected as I was just trying to increase my grip strength.

I have all kinds of issues and I just “suck it up” and keep going. I’ve been doing flatbed for over 4 decades.
