That 4States guy wrote an article about this subject. I think it was in Landline Mag.
He said it had to do with the visor being in the vision area that the windshield wipers sweep and you can cut down your wiper blades to get around this.
Just relaying some info. I'm not concerned about it because my visor isn't too big.
Would be good to see some actual state vehicle code posted on the matter.
Anyone ever get stopped or hassled about drop visors?

The 2nd pic was just showing what view I have with my visor, it does not impair my eyesight

If he had a ridiculous visor in the first pic it would be blocking the sun. That's not a before and after pic of driving into it. He's showing one reason why the rest of us in this thread do like them and how much view he has with it.
If someone is throwing anything off an overpass at me they have about 2 second window from the time my ridiculous visor blocks the overpass until I'm under it. There's your hazard. You don't have to buy one for your company truck. Werner probably wouldn't let you anyway.NHL_fan, Cowmobile, cowboy_tech and 6 others Thank this. -

Whatever floats ur boat I guess.

That is what I'm referring to as far as you can't see and will get you in trouble. I also don't see why anyone would want that in front of them, I would feel claustrophobic.Last edited: Sep 9, 2014

LOL! Yep....exactly the response I'd expect from someone that eats their flatbread off a belt buckle.

DOT has to do something about all these truck/airplane collisions we keep hearing about. This is a good start.
Cetane+ Thanks this. -
Yeah you know what you're talking about. Nice insults. Go back to looking for UFO's and bird flocks. Us adults are having big boy conversations here and I'm not sure if you can handle itexhausted379 and Flyer Thank this.

I was written a ticket for an American Eagle license backing plate.
Mind you, it does not hamper the visual plate in any way.
It's just had an American Eagle at the top of it with chrome sides.Cetane+ Thanks this.
