Awesome photo probably only appreciated by us mature fellows. But I’m glad they don’t make them like that anymore; it’s actually nice to have 565 hp, dual heated leather seats, SiriusXM stereo with Nav, 72 inch sleeper with Espar and fridge....well, you get the picture.[/QUOTE]
Next time I go up to the shop where we park on occasion ill take some pics. The guy has 10+ old resto's mostly autocar, brockway's diamond reo's. Its like your stepping back 60+ years. I've only been driving less than 5 years and to see what the real old dogs had is something else.

Tandem dump truck doing about 65, end of the day and I'm literally at the exit to home base. My car was probably a half mile from where the truck quit. All I heard was a POP, then a very serious, loud grinding noise, lookin out my mirror i noticed sparks flying from under the truck. I had absolutely no idea what had just happened. Pulled it over right at the beginning of the off-ramp to my freakin exit that I was going to take anyway, jumped out and what looked like gallons of oil were running back down the interstate straight out of my truck. The yoke broke off somehow and the driveshaft busted the hydraulic line causing it to leak all over the #### place. At the moment I really didn't know what I was looking at all I knew was I had drug the driveshaft about 500 feet across the pavement. Turns out the yoke was completely destroyed (we still don't know how or why) I mean just totally ripped off of the #### driveline it was nuts. Boss came out with the service truck and chained me up and we limped it on home. that was a long day

Came off flying and never found from running 68mph truck in center line highway 401 in Whitby On right in front of Penske yard back in 2003 or something. Lol i almost pissed my pants as it almost sounded like explosion and lotsa sparks underneath. Likely aboia three cars left and right nobody got touched by flying rocket. Truck was vibrating for about 400 miles before all time under engine load. That's how you realize not to trust company safety manager words.. It was 2000/2001 FLD120 .. so not an old unit.
