Anyone ever heard of a L/P “rental”????

    Spoke with a recruiter from DVL Express today and was inquiring about a lease purchase program that they advertise. Recruiter tells me it’s not a purchase it is a rental. A lease rental? Also, that you are required to spend 2 to 3 months as a company driver first. This all sounded very strange to me as I’ve never heard this way of doing business before with being in trucking over 30 years. Anyone have any input or Experience with this company?

    No genius… inquiring about their specific program that they advertise. Not all companies have the same terms, trucks, rates, etc. And they hit me with “lease rental”. Why am I wasting my time explaining to one who doesn’t contribute anything to the thread but a stupid comment. Nevermind! Go back to sleep!

    Pretty much all the LP's are just a rental. You walk away from it are they taking you to court to pay the full lease term?
