That sub base is no joke. Make a wrong turn there and your likely to be shot on sight. The one out in washington is even worse. And do not walk near the fence. You will set of all sorts of proximity alarms and snipers are on call ready and willing.

Surprisingly no. When he got his truck back he was able to come right back to work.

I went to a sub base, no dogs allowed. No weapons and all the other obvious stuff.

The one in kingsbay is a nuclear sub base. It's not so bad unless you are going to a restricted section. And even then not bad, they lay out the rules in very clear terms. It would take a special kind of stupid to break them.

I was at Letter Kenny? Truck in front of me at gate. Next thing I know is another cop shows up and driver taken away in handcuffs. I had to back up and go around. Go inside and there's a local cop. He does the background check. I ask what just happened. He had outstanding warrant for his arrest. They had the regular army people there also but I guess only a cop can run your background.

I've never seen a regular cop at any of the bases I have been to. I'm betting what happened is the warrant came up and someone called the police to let them know he was there. obviously I could be wrong, just stating what you described I've never witnessed and I do a lot of military freight.

Or perhaps their computer system or network was down so they had local police calling it in?

Nobody is allowed to look you up for priors or warrants except police. If there isn't a cop there they have to call up the local police with your drivers license and that takes time. Letter Kenny uses a full time cop so the trucks don't back up. He has a laptop right there.

I thought it was Aloha Snackbar!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though make sure you have a clean anal cavity. Even more seriously, you most likely will be asked to open all of your doors and consent to a search of your vehicle. If for some strange reason, they do a background check on you and something comes up, you will be escorted to the police station on base and booked on charges. I've seen it happen too many times. So make sure you have a clean record before you go in there. Or don't go in.

If you have s CCW, make sure the broker finds out if it's OK first.
