I was wondering if any of you had the intrastate only removed off your license and medical card and if so what was the steps taken? I'll be 21 in a couple days and have been driving locally for a little over 2 years. Anyways I can't find a thing online that tells me how to do it. Any help would be great thanks.
Anyone get the k restriction removed on their license? HELP

Get a new physical done. Then, assuming you passed, either fax or preferably take the card and forms to your local drivers license office. Self certify as regular interstate and you will be ready to roll.

I agree with @kemosabi49, I did that as well and it was just as easy even for my home state of NY
lb1125 Thanks this. -
Now i would have to fill out for a correction on my license then correct? Just wanna clear some things up beforehand. Thanks!

When you self certify at your drivers license office, they should issue and updated license with that restriction removed at that time.lb1125 Thanks this.

I am also turning 21 next month and actually spoke to the DMV about this today. They told me when you're 21, you have to go to the DMV and re-certify from intrastate to interstate to get that evil K removed. No test is necessary. That restriction is ridiculous if you asked me
