Can't say anything bad about the instructors... If you are staying at the hotel, be prepared for the worst... BAD surroundings, BAD rooms, and BAD service... Find a place to get breakfast, lunch and dinner as the school provides LESS than sustenance for a normal adult.

The SCHOOL side of the program rocks... If you come with an open mind, a positive attitude, and a STRONG work ethic, you will easily pass the course. There's a LOT of information that will be passed to you, and you better be ready to take 99 percent of it in. Tractors are old, but you can get the basics of what they teach, and apply when you graduate.

I can pass on some more info, but this should be a good start for you... Week one is all classroom, and weeks two and three are in the yard, and on the road.

Good deal are the trucks auto or manual don't matter I can drive a stick but I'm not keen on the double clutch when did you graduate who was your recruiter how did you get there what company you drive for did the hotel have a roommate or single room how do you get a hold of the shuttle to the hotel when there at the bus stop

Manual 8 speeds all are kinda crappy, but good for yard training. Road trucks are pretty good... I was recruited through Schneider, and they took really good care of me. I was local so I had no DIRECT experience with the hotel, but that was the reason for at least two guys to flunk out... Didn't like the hotel or the food, but that's kinda what this "life" is all about... The hotel is all doubles unless you are the last of an uneven group (good luck for that)... the "shuttle" will pick you up and deliver you back every day, just be ready for it when it arrives...

Stop, drop, and roll with everything... Double-Clutching is easy, once you get the hang of it... Best way to learn is while saying "Clutch Clutch" is tap your left foot, again while slapping your right hand on your right leg.

Being nervous is normal, just don't let your nerves win...
