Anyone got the new droid?

Hell, Verizon sold me a Devour and used tethering as a selling point.

 

Verizon doesn't seem to care about tethering with the Android phones.

 

Depends who you ask. Corporate customer service will say no. Store personnel will says yes. Why? The Android devices use so much bandwidth that you can't really tell the difference.

 

I wouldn't go crazy and download 20gb+ a month with it but I've breached the 5gb limit with nothing said. It's only .05 a mb anyway. I tested that on my aircard.

 

Bout the same since they're receiving the same amount of signal. Well, sort of. My phone doesn't get as much signal sometimes but it could be a problem with the model or this particular phone.

 

What i do is cause i play wow via my MiFi is when i get close to the 5bg limit I then tether to my droid. The phone its self is amazing I love it way more then those Iphone pos. And btw Verizon is upgrading all their towers to 4g from what i have heard so the speeds are getting faster. but most the time its all ready fast enough for my to game on so i am happy.
