I blew a steer on I-49 just a little ways north of Alma. That was scary because I was going downhill when it happened. I flipped the Jake to the highest power and did my damndest to keep from Jack-knifing. Once the tire destroyed that side of the hood and the smoke cleared, I was able to get stopped. Talk about a career defining scary moment.

HA! I drove an R model Mack with air-assist steering. I actually liked it, as it gave a better road feel than P/S. Biggest problem I had, was running out of air backing in somewhere. It uses a lot of air to help turn.okiedokie Thanks this.

I parked next to this last night.

Tbh I’d snap a pic like you but call his company or dot . He may kill someone when he loses control

I have yet to see that in my 20 years. Hopefully I’ll get lucky like @Happily Retired and never see it.

Happened yesterday in a construction zone. Right steer. Entire tread came off like a recap.

That is pretty serious, and no wear yet, so it looks pretty new. It's entirely possible they didn't know it. If they weren't in the truck, a sticky note might save someones life.Magoo1968 Thanks this.
