You got this right, Ripped out about 100 foot of cable tv line leaving the driveway at a delivery once. Called the local police in Grand Rapids Michigan and they came out and said it wasn't my problem.

Here's the email I got from SOS.
"I am sorry we cannot correct a ticket from 1998 unless the courts in Ohio state that an error was made. When you Contact the State of Ohio, ask for a corrected abstract. When states other than Michigan report infractions to us, we may not have the same law or point system as that state. The Secretary of State will find a violation that according the the Michigan Vehicle Code is similar and that is how it is reported on your driver license. I wish you well in your endeavor.
If you have other questions, feel free to contact us at 888 SOSMICH (888-767-6424).
Sincerely,
T Whaley
Department of State Information Center"
What kills me is they say they can't change it unless OH rules there was an error when OH is who got it right. Oh well, good piece of information for newbies to have if it ever happens to them. -
I took down a pepsi sign one time ..in a small town.. it was hanging off a building out over the street and it landed on my trailer..I called the local police an reported it.. they said not to worry about it.. it was not my fault.. they had issued a warning to raise the sign to the owner in the previous weeks before hand.. an it just saved them the trouble..lol..
