I see boats on a flatbed a lot. Usually 2 boats per load. Pontoon boats and smaller fishing boats.
Anyone haul boats?

Idaho, And Utah have them. You have to stop for an inspection to make sure your not bringing in invasive species on the boat.

And they WILL chase you down if you run them ... Atleast in montana. I seen one of those tmc boat haulers sitting on the shoulder last year pulled over just past the boat check west of butte mt

Florida has the agricultural check stations though . And they will chase down any truck over four wheels that doesn’t pull in .
Oddly the ag check stations are also on the outbound side too.Speed_Drums, D.Tibbitt, CAXPT and 1 other person Thank this. -

Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, Idaho, parts of Nebraska all have boat check stations, and yes, even those new boats coming from the factory have to stop. Apparently some manufacturers certify their boats are clean when they leave the factory. Watched a TMC driver in Cheyenne a few weeks back with 3 new boats, he handed the guy his paperwork, they matched the VIN's on the paperwork to the boats, put their little tags on each boat and sent him away, maybe 5 minute stop, otherwise it might be a 20 minute stop.
CAXPT Thanks this. -
OLDSKOOLERnWV, CAXPT and beastr123 Thank this.
