Looking into fuel cards that suit my area and Fuelman looks like my best option with their network. If you have it, what do you think of it? What are the pros and cons? Cant seem to find a straight answer on in network swipe fees and out of network charges or what the rewards points are redeemable for on their Deep Saver card. I got mom and pop places so their prices are already good but hey it can always be better. None of the other major fuel cards have a network that is convenient for a local guy in the boondocks. I’ve looked at OOIDA, RTS, Fleetone, Mudflap and WEX and find their networks pretty useless for me.

I’m hoping I have this figured right, with the Fuelman card I’ll get 8¢ off per gallon and another 5¢ off per gallon with my freebie loyalty cards I have with my local stations. Then after racking up enough points I get a $50 gift card which would drive down the price further, something like 4¢ a gallon off after 4000 gallons needed for the points if I only buy fuel. 13-17¢ total off per gallon at mom and pop places sure does sound good to me.

I use fleet one and mudflap , just got tcs to test .
Fleetone pretty much garbage without any benefit or discount , mudflap on the average 24c discount , sometimes 60c sometimes 4c

    Cdubb Thanks this.

I have heard almost universally good things about Mudflap but the nearest stations that takes it is about an hour away from my routes or home base. It’s an app I’m planning to keep around incase their network expands to me or I do end up on an odd run when I can use it. I would be interested in hearing about your experience with the TCS card, that’s one I don’t think I have researched

I’m about to start the process of running under my own authority and am browsing the internet for them right now.
Currently am lease on and this company uses EFS. I love the fuel discount but not sure if you can get EFS as a single truck.
I’m hoping someone here can steer me in a good direction.
