Kinda scared to drive these things tho.. but I'm willing to get over my fear for the dollars.
Anyone have a legit fear of trucking and still did it?

Fear of the truck or your ability? There is a Difference. Did you grow up driving? Can you drive a stick? Have accidents?
Riffman Thanks this. -
Ability. Trucks I see with a squinted eye.
Dad is a trucker, been to work with him when I was little. I got my permit and he let me drive his truck around the parking lot once. He also let me back ( or attempt to ). That didn't go well. Can't drive a stick. I've had a car accident before.
Just trying to find the best route to get my CDL. Strongly considering PRIME and Interstate. Applied already.. -
Be scared, but be brave. It'll make you better.

"The dollars" really ain't that great. Certainly not worth scaring yourself over.
Now, if you truly want to do it, that's another story. Then you'll have no trouble overcoming your fear. The fear is temporaryMrEd Thanks this. -
If you aren't a little scared you aren't paying attention. It does get less and less overwhelming with time though.

The dollars aren't great? I sure hope you're just implying it's all about the cents!

I was nervous at first but I'd say now I feel safer driving my truck than my personal car
MrEd, QuietStorm and akfisher Thank this.
